During 2011 we didn’t make a showreel because were too busy being super busy making all sorts of cool stuff to put into our 2012 showreel! Amongst other things…
So a new year has happened (Happy New Year by the way!) that was alright.
Another new thing is that we bought ourselves an extra brand spanking new computer so we can make more stuff even quicker! We then realised computers still don’t work themselves yet so we got a brand new person to use it too!

So here’s a big welcome to the talalented Anisa Sanusi! The latest addition to the team at Arcus Studios:
Check out her website, it’s better than ours! http://studioanisa.net/

Yes! It’s that time of year again, when corporate entities all around the globe wish everyone unsolicited generic positive greetings that are definitely are NOT aimed at anyone in particular. Because that’s just rude.
So annnyhoo, here’s ours:
Ok, so it’s really just a video of our recent Enchanted Parks installation with a Merry Christmas tagged on the end but we worked really really hard on it and we were too lazy unfortunately didn’t have time to make a proper one, but the feeling is all still there!
TO ALL OUR FRIENDS (and enemies if we have any) HAVE A GREAT CHRISTMAS AND A FAB NEW YEAR!
Welcome to October! That recent last hurrah of summer felt like losing something you take for granted but then getting it back for one last hug. But now its gone, and the Arcus freestyle swimming and animation team are now hunkering down for the winter!
As well as new gloves and hats we’ve got a lot of new exciting jobs, animation commissions, workshops and more to be sharing with you all shortly. I want to spill the beans now but the corporate ninjas wont let me.
Weve also just got back from judging the entries for this years Kids for Kids UK Film fesitval, and judged them all to be AWESOME! You can find out more about the festival here if you interested..
Are the shops selling mince pies yet?
With a sandwhich and a cuppa we’ve just wrapped up our installation ‘Hidden places’!
Though you’ve sadly missed the spectacle of 3D glasses, 3D geometry and 3D projections (at least 9D’s there) you can still see some pictures of it, along with the other awesome peices of shopart in this gallery.
In the meantime we’re working on securing another installation for ’Enchanted parks’, chatting with ballet dancers and of course working on our super secret project to be revealed with a small array of biscuits on a tray at the back end of the year. Enjoy the rest of August!
After over a year of not really showing this to anyone we’ve decided to show it to everyone! Hurrah! Our entry to Virgin Media Shorts because we forgot about the deadline and needed something to throw at them. Now, we’re not hoping for much from it but it probably will do exceptionally well and definately win everything including all the categories it doesn’t even qualify for. CLICK THE IMAGE. CLICK IT!
If you’ve recently tried to contact us via our website contact box we may not have received your message. This is due to faulty parts of our internets dropping off and falling down a drain. Fortunately we used a coat hanger and managed to fish it out so everything is now working fine again, if not a bit soggy. If you did send us a message please resend it and we’ll get back to you as fast as inhumanly possible.
Also, as a vague attempt at compensating here’s a preview of our up and coming art installation:
Hello! This website is still being tweaked to make it look all nice and stuff. In the interest of your own enjoyment please close your eyes until it’s completely finished.
NO PEEKING.
oodavid! What have you done?!
I’ve teamed up with the super-talented team at Arcus Studios and created a slick new website to show off their animation skills; awesome.
This will be my one and only post on their blog so I’ll keep it short and sweet…
GOODBYE
